Turtle Shells *Not a Mario Refrence* Problem?

Well we stumbled upon this recipe, and the person didn't have a title for it, and they didn't really explain shit on how to do it, or HOW MESSY IT IS...so this got real serious, real quick. But! The noms (as always) were fucking amazing! Trolololol :D We have taken this recipe and made it our own....

Any who, we feel as if the person who supplied this recipe didn't give much information, we shall give you this information so you can flourish. Ahh yes.

Zis is vhat vou'll need for ze Turtle Shells. ...

Pretzel Thin Ritz crackers
1 cup of Brown sugar!
1cup of Butter, Which is 2 sticks of butter :]
Pecans! :D
Some Vanilla Extract, you don't really need a measurement, but for you OCD folks - about 1.5 table spoons
And some chocolate chips - any chocolate will  be sufficient, we wanted to do dark, but couldn't acquire any dark chips and just used semi sweet :D

To bake it all in, a mini muffin pan.

Whitty with the shit you need, and a mustache. ^notice mini pan of awesome-sauce-ness

It made about 24 little bit sized yummies, probably a bit more since we had caramel left over, but we made 24 and just squished some caramel in.

By the way, this is seriously messy!!! Especially if you don't know it's messy! :D (but oh so fucking good)
Alright, preheat oven to 350 (tree-fiddy),then you get your ritz in yer mini pan, then you prepare the caramel because you don't have any.

That's where the 1 cup of Brown Sugar, 2 sticks (cup) of butter, AND the Vanilla Extract come into par.

What we did was melt down the 2 stick of butter before adding the brown sugar, but make sure you keep the butter agitated so it doesn't burn ;], if it burns you got problems, but essentially you're making caramel, and you need to bring the butter and sugar to a boil. You added the sugar and once its partially melted, or mostly actually, you can dash in your vanilla extract. TA DA!!
We boiled the mixture for about 5 minutes and when it began to get really bubbly, you turn the heat down and continue to stir, DONT STOP STIRRING!

Pretty simple from here on out, but if you don't keep an eye on yer shit, it gets messy.

So fill the mixtures with the caramel..pretty straight forward.

You have to watch cause the crackers will float up, and that shits annoying. so you have to take a knife and smush it back down, yes smush it.

Then after you smush the crackers down, you bake in the oven for about 5 mins @ 350 degress (tree-fiddy). But...this seemed to be too long since they boiled over and spilled onto my oven and made a mess, whoooo rar!... yes.

Then after they are baked, you put the chocolate chips on top so they melt and then you swish your knife over them and smooth them out. :D Then once the chocolate is melted and smoothed out you add your pecans! Then after all that is done stick that shizz in da fridge for about an hour, just so they solid up and stuff.

Wha-la!

Finished Product! And Whitty eating out of the pan! Trolololol.

They are quite yummy, and delicious, and melt in your mouth. GO!
